By Bidding on any Item you are accepting the terms and condition of this auction.
15% Buyer's Premium charged to all online bidders.
All items are sold strictly as is, where is including all faults. It is the bidder's responsibility to determine the exact condition and authenticity of an item. Island Auction Co. strives to accurately describe all auction items, however, written and/or oral descriptions are only our opinion and should not be considered a guarantee or warranty either expressed or implied. The absence of a condition report does not does not imply it is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear. Feel free to call or email for lot specifics on any item.
By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction. Bidders cannot rescind or reduce their bids. All sales are final - no refunds or returns.

Island Auction Co. reserves the right to reject any bid at its sole discretion.
A valid credit card must be made available to secure all online bidding and may be used for payment of invoice. Acceptable forms of payment include MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cash & approved check with a valid US billing address. We accept USD (U S Dollars), VISA, MASTERCARD & DISCOVER
There is no cost to register for an auction however a $1 Authorization will be charged when you initially register to validate your credit card. The Authorization is not deducted from your account it simply verifies that the card being placed on file is legitimate. If the Billing information on the Card does not match your shipping information the card may be rejected.
Island Auction Co. has right to withdraw or add items at their sole discretion, can group individual lots together or split single lots into multiples, and has right to settle all bidding disputes.
Loading purchased items is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Island Auction Co. is not liable for any loss or personal injury that may occur during that process.
All online purchases must be paid for upon receipt of invoice & prior to pick-up.
*** NEW BIDDERS TO THE AUCTION HOUSE MAY BE REQUIRED TO PAY BY CERTIFIED CHECK OR BANK TRANSFER, ESOECIALLY WHEN BUYING PRECIOUS METALS & JEWELRY.
All sales subject to North Carolina sales tax as stipulated by state law, unless we have a resale certificate from your business on file. If paying in person you may bring a copy. If paying online you will need to send a copy or you will be charged tax.
Registered bidders will be added to our customer database & will be sent email notices of upcoming auctions.
Any announcements made day of auction take precedence over printed matter.
Any and all disputes resulting or arising in connection with this auction shall be heard in the general court of Dare County, North Carolina as the sole and exclusive venue.
All items must be picked up on the Designated day(s)
(PLEASE USE THE SCHEDULING LINK IN THE EMAIL SENT WITHIN 24 HOURS of AUCTIONS END), unless prior arrangements have been made. Any items not claimed on those two days will be considered abandoned and will become the property of Island Auction Co. with no refunds given.
Pick up is done at the responsibility of the buyer. All packing, handling, shipping and delivery services are performed at the sole risk of the buyer. Purchases must be paid for in full prior to pick up.
Furniture Items can not be shipped by Island Auction Co. Smaller Lots can always be shipped and will incur a Seperate shipping charge which will be invoiced to the buyer the following week when items are packed.

IF SHIPPING IS REQUIRED:
Please notify us on the comments section of the registration. (no furniture will ship) The Monday following the auction we will begin (out of house) packing and shipping invoices will be sent out.

**YOUR CARD WILL BE CHARGED AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SALE UNLESS YOU HAVE STATED OTHERWISE. IF YOU WISH TO PAY BY CASH IN PERSON PLEASE LEAVE A NOTE IN THE COMMENTS SECTION WHEN REGESTERING FOR THE AUCTION. YOU CAN ALSO EMAIL OR CALL THE AUCTION HOUSE WITH THIS INFORMATION.
